Encodica participates in “Greeks in AI 2026”

On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens, the Greek Free/Open Source Software Society (GFOSS) organized the “Open Sovereign AI Models” session as part of the “AI & Industry” workshop during the Greeks in AI 2026 conference. The event also featured an industry poster session.

Thirteen speakers from academia, public infrastructure, industry, and education came together to address a common question:

How can we build an open and sovereign Artificial Intelligence ecosystem for the Greek language and Greek society?

As part of the workshop, Encodica presented its pilot work titled:

“From Open Greek Data to Semantic Exploration”

The presentation demonstrated innovative applications that leverage open Greek datasets to enable AI-driven semantic exploration, highlighting how open data can be transformed into meaningful digital experiences and practical AI solutions.
